COOKING SMELLS & WINTER DAWNS (February 2009) This is a smorgasbord of photos left over from last fall and winter... Late summer/early fall, Randy took two pictures of a beautiful field of sunflowers on the side of the road going to Limoux (the same field seen on phoros 3-7 here): Also at the same time, roofer extraordinaire Michael Padet installed the double-glassed with solar powered metal shutter) velux window that replaced the old skylight above the stairwell: In October, for Mom's 85th birthday, we all had lunch at the Commerce in Mirepoix with Peter and Margaret Sleigh, and Fiona Regan and her family... Margaret, Peter, Irene, Fiona and baby Eve (spelled in Irish Xkzf%*#) Irene, Randy & Eve Irene and Fiona Fiona's husband and Jean-Marc Good locally grown (or raised) food over the holidays... As winter starts receding, dawns become quite spectacular... As spring arrives, Randy bought a new/old piece of furniture for her kitchen...
