OUR LIFE IN CHALABRE: An American Expat in the South of France

XMAS MARKET 2009! (December 2009) For the second year in a row, Chalabre decided to have a XMas market, but this year, it was held under the Halles, which was far more attractive and pleasant, although a bit cold... About 20 merchants had set up a table (including us) to sell as variety of wares, such as breads, patés, paintings, artisanal jewelry, etc... That's JM, selling books, chatting with local resident Aggie (originally from Holland)... ...And here's Randy! Yummy... All kinds of good patés! Candles and XMas ornaments... Local painter Mme Granger exhibits... Scarves and pretty fabrics...
