OUR LIFE IN CHALABRE: An American Expat in the South of France

DOMAINE DE CASSIGNOLES (November 2008) The Domaine de Cassignoles is a beautiful winery located near the village of Castelreng in the High Valley. We became acquainted with its owner, Pierre Rolland, at this year's Espezel Fair (see Jour de Foire in Espezel) where he was exhibiting and selling his products: Blanquette de Limoux Brut, Blanquette Ancestrale and grape juice. We liked his grape juice so much that we bought six bottles. Ten days later, we had finished them all and set out to his Domaine to buy two cases.
