PUIVERT
(June 2005)
Puivert is a small village located about 10 miles south of Chalabre. It features an ancient
Cathar Fortress
built atop a hill overlooking the village and a small lake (or large pond) with a restaurant open only in the summer.
South of the village are several hamlets and a road winding its way up onto the towns of Ezpezel, Belcaire and
the Plateau de Sault.
(also see Jour de Foire in Espezel).
