LA BAMBOUSERAIE DE PRAFRANCE

Our friend French science fiction writer Michel JEURY (far left, from left to right, Jean-Marc, Dann Thomas & comic book writer Roy THOMAS) used to live at the Bambouseraie de Prafrance, near Anduze.  A Disneyland of bamboo, the Bambouseraie was initially built by an eccentric Frenchman who bought bamboo shoots during his travels in Asia.  It now has one of the world's most complete collections of bamboo and is a famous site for bamboo lovers.
