The village of Tourtour in the "Haut Var" is located on top odf a mountain,
north of Salernes and Entrecasteaux. The view is superb, the neighboring hills breath-taking, and there are many excellent restaurants
in town, such as Les Girandoles.
Les Chênes Verts is located just outside of town, 2 kilometers down on the road to Villecroze -- a beautiful
country road, winding its way down through the pine hills. This is a bit of a pricey choice, but it's certainly
worth it. If you're there in season and really feeling like spending for a meal, you might want to try the special
truffle menu, where every dish features the fabulous fungi. Without going to that, however, the lower priced menus
