Mont-Faron

The Mont-Faron is THE mountain that towers above the harbor city of Toulon.  You reach the summit either by taking a cable car, or by driving on a very narrow and scary mountain road. At its top stands a military museum celebrating the Allied liberation of France, a zoo, a church and plenty of roads and trails for nature lovers.
