Fall

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, we took a drive up the Pyrenees Mountains, towards Andorra, and back.mFrom Ax les Thermes, we climbed towards the small town of L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre. At the top (2050 mm) is the Andorran border and market town of Pas de la Case.

On the way back, we drove through Puyvalador, the col de la Quillane and Roquefort de Sault, with its lovely autumn foliage. Sunlight reflected through the leaves and eerily shone on a stream and a white rock. 

Local cows claim the right of way. A beautiful horse watches us drive by.
